September Book Club

When a series comes to an end, it always gives me mixed emotions. I'm so relieved to finally get the conclusion and to know how things turn out for the characters I've grown to know and love. On the other hand, it's devastating to see the end and to know I won't have another book to look forward to. This was one of those series endings for me.

Fearful by Lauren Roberts

Fearful, an accompaniment of the novel, Fearless is finally out! Remember Powerful, the cute little novella that gave us a little more insight into what was happening behind Paedyn's back in Powerless? Well, now we get to see what was happening at the castle with Kitt when Paedyn and Kai were up to no good in Fearless.

Truthfully, the only storylines I enjoyed in this were the storyline between Lenny and Blair, and finally understanding what Kitt was doing and how his mental health declined so rapidly. I didn't care for the new character introduced into this and had trouble following her plot.

All in all, though, I recommend. Especially for the banter between Lenny and Blair!
