The Same Backward as Forward by Jennifer Lynn Barnes

A truly brilliant piece of art. Not only is the writing fantastic (it's a great enemies-to-lovers story), but the concept is also remarkable. The first half of the book is Hannah's story (mom of Avery in The Inheritance Games novels). The second half is told from other's perspective. The first half is about Hannah, a young woman who is happy with being the invisible sibling next to her fiery sister, and falls in love with the one person she's determined to hate.

The second half of the book is told from Toby's point of view. It's the same story as far as plot, but totally different as far as perspective. After a tragedy, Toby wakes up with no memory of what has happened to him or who he is. All he knows is he's in severe pain that he's pretty sure he deserves; Hannah, the young woman nursing him back to health, seems to despise him; and the grumpy old recluse he's living with won't tell him anything. As the pieces. of his life slowly come together, he falls in love with the one person he shouldn't - the woman who hates him.
